The South Bend Bike Garage is a 100% volunteer organization. 

As a 501(c)(3), we are made up of a board of directors, key volunteer leaders, and tons of awesome volunteer mechanics, helpers, creators, builders, and supporters.

To best serve our customers, volunteers, and the organization, we are divided into two teams that help support each other, along with our board of directors. 
If you want to work directly on bikes, with customers, or community partners, the shop team is for you!
If you want to support behind the scenes, with marketing, design, IT, finance, accounting, operations, or non-profit work, the admin team is for you!

The Shop Team

Handles the day-to-day, mechanics, front desk, taking in donated bicycles, coordinating repairs, and running programs.

 

The Shop Team works directly with customers and community partners.
